Everytime I stand up from a seated position,I feel dizzy and light headed like I'm going to faint.I don't feel ill,I'm not running a fever,what the heck is this?
 
yeah, happens to me sometimes, i get up and feel all dizy and light headed like i am gonna pass out then it stops after 5 seconds or so and i am fine.

That happens to my girlfriend every once in a while. If this is just happening recetly, you may have an inner ear infection. Otherwise, low blood suger or a thyroid problem.
 
You probably have high (or was it low?) blood pressure.

When you stand up all the blood rushes down to your feet leaving your head deprived of oxygen, hence the dizzyness and lightheadedness.

no,my pressure was just taken a few days ago 100/61 which the doc said was excellent.This crap just started this morning and it's freaky.

They can feel fine... it's just an infection that causes your balance thingy to be out of whack... makes you dizzy/light headed, It should go away eventually... but it can last a while. If it isnt gone in a couple days see a doctor.

Get your blood pressure checked.
