What the heck is this?

I formatted my machine and now when i try installing stuf like games(Serious Sam) they install EXTREMELY SLOW! They take forever to install. what could be the problem? I use partition magic but that shouldn't be it. any suggestions?

Did you load all the drivers, 4-1 & AMD Agp miniport?
Did you enable DMA to your Hdrives & CDROM.

yeah i loaded the mobo drivers and teh DMA, from what i know. where can i d/l the latest 4 in 1 drivers? and how do i know if DMA is correct? i made the hd ata100 and the ROMs are 33.
