Just a little background: KATU is the call-letter designation of one of my local channels (ABC). Whenever you watch the news, they're always telling how you can go to their website and check out some stories in more detail, or see videos, or get links to other websites that correspond to things in their broadcast. Cool.
I'm sitting here watching Leno but it's a commercial. What commercial? One for cars.com advertising how they're so great at matching people up with the cars they're looking for. That's all well and good. At the end of the commercial, the narrator/announcer says something to the effect of "Find us at cars.com!" ... followed by a split second of silence, then you hear another completely different voice say "Find the cars.com website on KATU.com and thanks for watching the top rated news show!"
...
find... cars DOT COM by going to KATU... dot com?
Wow... what can I say? This is just sad. Really really sad.
