Theyre whiney goth wanna be's that listen to crappy music.

Exactly. They need to listen to something good like, Paula Abdul - Straight Up. That will fix them up right nice.

lol...i would love to see them straped to a chair with that song relax from zoolander for hours. their ears would bleed. speaking of which, i got the 80s stream rolling today! :)

It's beginning to be overused I think. There's plenty of emo kiddies but anytime someone reveals something personal about their life it's "emo" now... gets old after awhile.

There's a difference between revealing/talking personal struggles and a "OMG! my world is so terrible, I want to wallow in my own failures"

It's the lack of character that defines "emo"

At least when I was a punk-skater dude, we stood for something.

oh come on... were you one of anarchy-loving punks? cuz yea, they need to die because they know nothing about politics and governments.

All you need to know

but the video said At The Drive-In was emo! blasphemy! they are just plain ol' indie with a hint of peyote-inspired rock. :)

If you were a punk skater kid today ATOT would call you emo.

It's so overused it has no meaning anymore, thus the confusion.
