What the heck happened?

In Internet Explorer 5.5 in Windows 2000 if I right-click "Save Picture As...", I only get the option of a bitmap (*.bmp) and and the file name comes up as "untitled". I have two computers and if I use the other one with the same O/S and IE5.5 it lets me save as *.jpg or whatever and if the picture has a name it'll already be there.

What's the deal. I can't think of anything I could have installed that would have done this. I just noticed it today, so I can't say how long it's been doing it, but I know it hasn't always been this way.

Clear your cache.

Tools>Options>Temporary Internet Files>Delete Files

Ladi... thank you so much. :)

I would have never guessed that would fix it.

Why in the heck does that fix it?

Right now I'm on win98SE and I know I can save as jpg or bmp (for jpg files), and gif or bmp (for gif files), and it's been like this for as long as I can remember. I'll try win2k in a little while and see what happens.
