I live in Maryland and it seems like winter never came -- and I was hoping for a least one heavy snowfall so I could get a day off from work. Please pray for a heavy snowfall for me. I would prefer it to snow either on Thursday night for Monday night. Thank you.

Well, we here in Boston will be pleased to pray that all snow be diverted to Maryland, this is the 1st winter in ages where my heating hills haven't caused me to faint upon opening them :D

So true!

Even up here in frosty igloo territory we have yet to have a major snowfall that has closed/delayed stuff.

Who cares? I really hate having to walk to classes in the snow.

Winter can stay away.

Only winter sport I really play is hockey and we can do that anytime of the year.

Sorry - that's my fault. I'm on temporary (11 months) work assignment in Baltimore from Ft. Lauderdale, and the rest of the office is convinced that my non-stop bitching and moaning about this godforsaken cold weather is actually keeping it away this year. To improve the conditions, I even bought a nice set of skis and boots, so I figure another snowfall is 99% out of the question.

However, it is also likely that fate is just waiting for the nice spring day when I drive my car to work and leave the windows down and T-tops off, when I'll walk out at lunchtime to find a freak blizzard has filled it with 3 feet of snow.

It's my fault. Last year we had snow cover on the ground for over 30 days. We were snow bound in the house for two days until the snow on the steets got packed down enough I could get my car down them. So last fall I bought a 4WD Jeep Cherokee and we have only had a dusting of snow this year.

Oh, and this is one explanation for whats going on. I just looked at our local weather here, and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all it says is "Snow." And that usually means a big dumping of snow.

I live on the West Coast of Florida and it has been raining non-stop here since around 9 p.m. on Thursday night! It is like a monsoon.......not really, but there is a lot of rain. Certainly not like our "winter" here in Florida, it is pretty cold outside though, in the 50's.

Weather this week in LA was 80 / 78 / 75 the past three days. I don't know what this "winter" is you speak of.

This winter has been great!

I live in central New York! Syracuse-area. We are well known for our crappy winters, but this winter has been great! no snow!

My dad even gave the snow blower a tune up and he never had to use it. I hope it stays this way and it doesn't snow in like April instead of the winter months

No winter here either, it is in the 70's all this week as well. (las vegas) Should be in the low sixties if we were lucky this time of year,

No snow in NYC either. But the ski areas in vermont/upstate NY have plenty of snow. I was just at killington vt. last week with several inches of fresh snow falling.

Less snow at home means less car washing.

They usually get like 200 - 300+ inches of snow a year here but almost none this year (only 106.4") :)

Last three months the warmest on record. The big problems start when the gulf stream stops flowing and Europ becomes Alaska. Have any of you seen the famous contrails of military plains that cris-cross clear skys and cloud them up. I guess everybody knows about HARP too.

ROFL

I'm seriously laughing.

I will pray that it snows on either a Monday or a Thursday.
