What the heck happened to my 9800 pro?

I bought this ati branded 9800 pro around the time doom 3 came out. i have a vga silencer on it and I didn't even clock it to xt speeds. it was working fine till today.

I recently started to use ultravnc to access my computer from school. i was able to log into my computer an hour before i found out something was wrong.

This is what i did to troubleshoot:
1. i unplugged everything except the video card and cpu.
2. removed the cpu, repasted it and put it back in, sitll didn't work
3. removed video card and heard the bios code for "missing video card"
4. plugged in a pci video card, computer booted up fine
5. plugged in my 9800 pro computer turns on but no beeps and no output.

i really don't think it has to do anything with my setup since i've had this computer working flawlessly since last summer. the only recent change i did was start a ultravnc server.

I DID NOT flash my video card after i bought it. It looks like the only way to fix it is to flash it using a pci video card however when i put both cards in at the same time, it doesn't boot.

I checked all the chips cpu/vga/north bridge and capacitors: no smell, no burn marks, nothing.

Please help. =(

DID you installed a PCI Video card you said. if yes you should uninstall the drivers first for both and reinstall the VGA cards drivers. See if that should help if not, use CMOS jumper on your motherboard to clear every thing, and then see what happens.
