I just got this in an E mail. This is what I'll be doing for the summer but I dont understand what the heck they are talking about....

Provide assistance with global data network change implementation. This involves Remedy change request creation, pre-installation planning, scheduling, executing change, and post installation documentation and communications. Ensure product registration for maintenance & follow internal process and procedures. As a team member attend weekly department staff meeting, work with peers to observe and help with actual installation work, documentation, back office requirement. Monitor Remedy change record and help peers with update of in the process and closure of the completed change. Be flexible with assignment objectives available to lend a hand off hours, weekends, holidays as it may require.

At my company we use a system called Remedy. It is a ticket tracking system for customer call-ins.

I got sent the wrong Email. Here is what I will be doing!

Participates in small to medium size infrastructure projects on the HP based Intel platform. Is responsible for completing project tasks within time and budget constraints. Tasks include design, installation and support of HP based Intel server systems, Windows server operating system installation and support, monitoring tools such as Insight Manager, Enterprise Configuration Manager and NetIQ App Manager. Must be able to diagnose server issues related to performance, hardware and network. Must be able to handle multiple priorities and shifting demands, have customer service focus and be able to offer alternatives to problem solving. Must make system recommendation based on technical factors as well as business drivers and quality requirements.
