what the heck do they keep doing to facebook?

I recently logged in to my account and realized they wanted to link my profile information to something something so I just chose Yes
Then I realized a good portion of my profile information disappeared including my networks.
Now it's just very bare. I honestly don't care either way but I looked at other peoples' profiles and they look pretty empty too. The changes are getting worse and worse

If every person who hated Facebook got together and donated $100 each we could buy the fucker and shut it down. I'd donate $200 to the cause just so I wouldn't have to fucking hear one more person asking questions about why I don't have a FB. And trying to explain to me why I need one and what I'm missing out by not being on it.
