Yes, the server that the site was on was hacked... whoever did it had root access and changed every index.* and home.* file on the server. I just have to get an export of the database so I can move it to my VPS.

This is exactly what happened to me (different server, still sonataweb) -- some anti israel crap. Same symptoms, index.* deleted.

My SQL DBs came through fine.

Yeah, I attempted to move it to the new server today and discovered that it needs a more recent version of MySQL than I have installed. RossMAN has generously volunteered to host it for free, but it'll probably be about a week before it's back up.
