What the....does this make sense?

Speedfan is generic and doesn't automatically connect the Temp1, Temp2 etc. readings to the correct physical devices. That's up to you. If you use the Hardware Monitor utility that came with your mobo, that should be correct. Or look in your BIOS for the correct number and connect the correct Temp number to the correct device in the SF configuration. I think it comes with a number of configuration templates for many popular mobos, so you can just pick yours. If it's not there, then you'll have to configure it manually.

i used the hardware temperature monitor that came with my eVGA motherboard...the figures are still the same 😕
