Hello,
What the diff between Albatron TI4200P Turbo 128meg DDR and the PNY Quadro 4 XGL 128meg DDR?
Just wanted to know.
Thanks in advance

😉 Well that Albatron (IIRC) is the one which is still branded a GF4TI4200 but actually has much more in common with the GF4TI4600/4800 and is known to run as fast or faster than them (o/c'ing). The Quadro4 is a professional OpenGL (not consumer) gfx card, it is based around GF4TI technology but the Quadros are not designed for gaming. HTH!

Yeah, I had a P-Turbo for about 1 month. Many test site claimed it could reach t4600 speed and above, but after the initial batch of card, many could not attain those speeds. I ended up selling the card and getting a 9500Pro which turned out to be faster, especially with AA enabled.

Yeah, I have the Ti4200p. A certain review site gave it a very very good review, and I'm assuming it was based on an early batch of the card. Mine doesnt overclock nearly as well :disgust:

OK Thanks.
I do a little gaming but, mostly video editing.
Would it be a better card for that then the TI4200p?
Also is the Quadro 900 XGL a better card for gaming then the Geforce 3 TI200?
Thanks again for your help.

I geuss I most have gotten an early batch, mine got a max of 320/720. But I do have one gripe, it just started to make annoying hissing sounds when running 3d apps.

Well I tried the Quadro 4 900 XGL and it beat out my TI4200P Turbo.

3DMarks
TI4200 = 109 fps
Quadro = 126.5 fps

The quadro does not have the nice heat sinks on the memory chips like the TI4200 so I ordered a set just to help out on cooling.
