What the Crap? Stupid Ebay spam

I've used ebay twice in my life, once four years ago to buy a laptop, and yesterday.

Now all of a sudden I'm getting ebay related spam. "Profit huge with eBay." "Fire your boss, with eBay."

WTF. Is ebay really that desperate to make a buck by selling personal info.

*sigh* You'll probably see this same thread four years from now the next time I use ebay.

Ebay is not responsible for generating that spam. The filter we use at work catched those all the time to almost every email account we have. That includes the users who have never had internet access, and wouldn't have a clue about how to even go about using Ebay.

I hope so. It's probably coincidence, but I've never gotten an ebay spam until today.

The EBay spam I get is ALWAYS to the email addy that isn't associated with EBay... Always...
