One thing ive always loved about Saskatchewan, Canada is how unbelievably easy it is for me to get into a movie theatre. But yesterday when I went to the lord of the rings a half hour early I was stunned! There must have been at least a hundred people there waiting in line. Now I dont know if this was because they only decided to show it at one theatre, whether it had something to do with the pre-showing being completely booked up so you could only win tickets to it...or what...but this isnt Canada! Not my Canada anyway (its cold outside..who wants to stand in line?)...Ive been to the LOTR 1...and the theatre was only half full on the first showing (not the pre showing), and ive been to spiderman 20 mins early on the premier to be the third person in line ( to later find out my debit card wasnt working and being ready to cry looking back on the line behind me, then to some act of God my card finally worked)

Anyway what was I talking about? oh yah, i cant remember all the books...but didnt the two towers end much earlier than it did in the book?

Canadia is all backwards. People only went to see the movie over there cause us Americans told you to. ;)

That's alright, you guys are cool....even if you only have one movie theatre that showed TTT in the ENTIRE COUNTRY(?) :D

We tried last night and were turned away. I won't bother again for a little while. Lineups are really just not worth it. THe movie will still be there next week or in two weeks.

well...they only showed ttt at one theatre in saskatoon, sask. I just bought tickets before hand and just walked into the first showing with about 30 other ppl who bought tickets before hand. But for lineups in saskatoon, ive never seen a movie where getting there an hour before the movie wont get you amazing seats.

now...to my other question....

anyone who has seen the movie and read the books recently:

did the movie not end far too early? if so the third ones gonna be even better, as they left some of the more interesting stuff to it
