I work in the finance industry and i also work from home. Looking to purchase 3 24in monitors for my home office, and also i need a new desktop system that will support more than 2 displays. Will i need to get a special kind of video card? Any recommendations on trusted stores with decent pricing on monitors? Thanks for you help

Here you go:

Buying Guide

Best Monitors

The best places to buy a monitor for many is Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Newegg, and B&H Photo. You can also look at what the best selling monitors are at those sites, and read user reviews. Any questions on particular units you like can be asked here.

Monoprice... MP branded monitors have excellent value and offer a true 0 pixel arrival warranty.

Most dedicated videocards now can handle 2 monitors.
It gets tricky when you want a third however.

The reason why i say tricky is the third monitor needs to be on a different type of port, unless you step up to a upper mid class to upper class video card like a 1060GTX or higher class. Then you can get 3 DP ports to plug in 3 monitors, otherwise you will need to do something like 1 - DP , 1 - HDMI, and 1 - DSUB.
