First are Saunas and Steam rooms the same thing?
I been in my Gym for like year and half now and I never used either room. I hear they are good for loosing weight and relaxation.

What are some benefits and how much should you use them and which one, sauna or steam room?

If you like to be in a hot, steamy room with other scantily clad men, go for it.

A sauna is basically a very hot room with dry air.

A steam room is a warm/hot room that is billowing with steam.

When I belonged to a health club, I would spend a few minutes after my workout in the sauna. Once I cracked a full body sweat, I would move into the steam room for a few more minutes.

Follow that with a cold shower and you are totally invigorated.

Combine it with a good supply of water and advil and you can conquer ANY hangover in under an hour.

I was not really thinking that but more like loose weight or relax muscles.

Mwilding is right...saunas are great for hangovers. I used to live in an apartment building that had one, and it hardly ever got used. I'd go down there on Sunday morning and sweat out the poison from the night before. It was great!
