What temps do you get with a Antec PSU?

I just swapped out the Antec true 330w replacing it with my old generic 350w and the cpu temp dropped 20 degrees celcius - 64 to 44. I question the quality of the Antec - it is very quiet but not very efficient. Did I get the wrong model since there are so many positive reviews for their PSUs or did I just get a defective one? Anyways I will definitely return it.. but would you guys recommend I give Antec another try with the true 380w or the Coolmax CX-400B (good price).

~Only reason I am still considering Antec is because of the low noise, any suggestions for another quiet/silent one?

In my experience, the True series PSU's tend to bring case temps up because the fans don't run at full force 24/7. It's Antec's way to keep noise down, and it works quite well. In all the years I've been building my own systems, I have yet to see anything negative come from higher case temps (except for the time I overclocked my Radeon 9800 N/P to Pro.)

On another note, where is that temperature measurement coming from? Motherboard temp sensors have been known to be less than accurate most of the time.

I have an Antec True 550W and its the best performance/temperature/noise combo ever. Simply amazing, give Antec another try. They're the beast of this business.
