[FONT=&quot]I just installed a new motherboard so far all temperature readings appear normal. All three cores are indicated to be at 41*c on idle w/Stock Heatsink/Fan. I downloaded CPUID to double check and noticed that the temperature for TMPIN2 was/is at 104*c. I have no idea what TMPIN2 is or where it is located in the motherboard.

The only thing I can think of is it’s somewhere near the CPU possibly reading the overall temperature of all 3 cores.

I would ignore it. Its not something you need to worry about. What you can do is label your motherboard in here and you can get further help. Its not something you should bust your brain about. I would be worried about how hot my cpu,NB and SB running.

if you search google for your "motherboard model TMPIN2" you can usually find this information out.
