what temp should I be at - help

I installed my Athlon XP 2100, Asus A7n8X mb and Zalman CNPS5100cu heatsink.

Idling is around 32c, been running couple of hours with alot of dowloading/loading/playing little and temp is now 47c

is this still good? I have a fong kia case which cools pretty good along with 2 more fans in case.

At what temp should I be worried if it hits?

thx

55-60 is still even ok
i wouldnt overclock if you hit those temps however

personally, to freak, i would have to have the cpu at over 65C....unless im overclocking....then over 45-50 is not good lol

(hell ive had my tbird 1ghz running at 95C for 5-6months.....about 2yrs ago....and its STILL chuggin along very nicely....but its got a new heatsink now lol)

is it stock heatsink or waht?

also, a useful trick to lower temps, undervolt if you dont plan on ocing 🙂

i have my tbird 1ghz @1.45v from 1.75v defualt
and have for the time being xp1700+ at 1.25v from 1.6v defualt (its only at 1250mhz however...the highest i can go on this mobo with just mults...kt133 chipset)

My XP 1800+ Tbred is OC'd at stock voltage (12.5 mult by 145 FSB = 1800MHz), 31C Idle - 37 to 40C load. Using Coolermaster HHC-001 cooler. If my CPU got to 50C, I would freak!
