i think that is a bit high for a stock X2 3800+. i think you should be looking at like 42 ish degrees load

EDIT: ohh maybe not then according to Markfw900, but i was sure that i was seeing people with an X2 in and around 42 ish load, maybe it wasnt stock cooling

no i thought at load .. but perhaps it is when idle, but then again i could have sworn that people were stating temps the same as a 3200 venice when idle ..

i know you would not have thought so due to the high TDP rating .. but ar well .. should have used my commonsense :p

No, mine was only hot OC'ed on the stock HSF with the case closed. Open case OC'ed never went over 55. Idle was 34 (case open). But full throlle stock cooler at 52 is in the ballpark IMO.

Edit: 52c Idle ? at stock setting, stock cooler ? something is wrong.

thats what i thought, if it is indeed stock, my temps went up 8 degrees on my xp90/AS5 from just a 350Mhz OC, although i am at 1.65volts

what should it be at stock LOAD 47-49 ish ??
