What Temp is to high?

I have an ABIT KT7 with a T-Bird 850. I have started overclocking but I am somewhat worried about the temps. On the motherboard there is a sensor under the processor. For this kind of sensor what is the acceptable range of tempatures? When I have the RC-5 client running it usualy ends up about 43 celsius.

with my t-bird @1288 on a kt7a, im stable at 51c at full load (rc5, folding@home, seti@home, and prime 95 all running at once) but thats with the stock HSF, just waiting on the rest of my watercooling stuff =) you should be fine at 43c, i wouldnt start worrying till like 50c or higher. i believe the athlons max temp is like 70c or 90c? not real sure on that but its way up there. and if it does get to hot your comp will crash before you fry the chip. laters =)

I'm running a 1ghz t-bird @1.2 150x8, my idle temp is around 34c, under max load 50c, I've heard 60c is the danger zone, if you start seeing temps that high then start thinking about clocking back down or getting better cooling...

hehe I was worried that 43 was way to high, but I see that it isint to bad. I will probably let it get as high as 50-52. Thanks for the help guys
