What does home temperature have to do with fuel costs? Do you guys use these really old stoves or something to heat the house? lmao.. I thought everyone used electric heat these days (well, some use wooden pellet stoves).

i am using Fuel oil, {aka diesel fuel almost,}

got 205. gallons delivered Weds,
it was $1.75 per Gallon,
🙁 aprox $350 US

I got my vote in 🙂

58 F in my house 🙂

Even if it was two dollars a month to heat my house, it would still be set to 58 f.

70? 65? 62? Below that?

Damn, Houston has changed me. I gotta have it aroung 74-76 otherwise I think it's too cold.

i leave the heat off at night and it stays between 60 - 65 while i sleep .. during the day, i just open all the windows and let mother neature do her work .. tends to be about 70 during the day

*runs downstairs*
Hmm, 71... not surprisingly, my room is a lot warmer than downstairs where the thermostat is. All the computer heat, lol
Bought a new gas heat burner that's a lot more efficient than our old one... it heats up the house pretty quick. We have a fairly small house so all the bedrooms are nice and toasty.

yup, we have free heating here, its usually about 75-78 in my aparment, thats where my roomates keep it at. It doesn't bother me that much, I just sleep with a really thin blanket. At my parent's house, my mom likes it about 67 all year.

I live in Ohio, and haven't even turned my gas on yet this year. The apartments surronding me have children, so they keep theirs rather warm, and I have a small electric space heater that runs very well, and only ups my electric about 7 bucks a month. I can normally come home from work to find my apartment heated to about 78-80 degrees.
