1-2% per hour in CM7 is not the same as webOS. I left my Touchpad on the floor next to my bed for 8 days and I picked it up and it was still at around 40%. It synced email and Facebook for 8 days straight. It will NOT last that long on Android.

You get 1-2% per hour, I get <1% per hour. Overnight 8 hours with wifi on drains just about 7% for me. Sounds like you're on Alpha 3 instead of Xron?

I certainly didn't get 8 days on WebOS with wifi turned on. If I turn off wifi sure, but with it on it's about the same (well, it's better, being closer to 0.7% per hour).

Still, the difference is academic since the Touchstone makes sure it's fully charged when I pick it up and 4 days of standby is plenty sufficient (although Facebook on the PC is a much better experience while the WebOS one is pretty but useless).

Had an HP Touchpad and tried it both with CM9 and WebOS, now it sits gathering dust while I use my iPad 2 everyday. Say what you will, iOS is better than both of them for just working out of the box.

Nice! Have link on instructions on how to download & install CM9? Thanks you.

For me, none so far. Anything non retina or lower than 300dpi is too blurry for my tastes. I may finally get one if the iPad3 is retina or another tablet sporting a 1600p screen.

Nook Color with CM7.

I intend to replace it (and my old Dell Mini 9 netbook) with a Transformer Prime. Probably not until ICS is rolled out for it, though; I'm not in a rush.

Just received a Touchpad I won in a contest held by Mashed Deals. Feel a little obligated mentioning them since they picked me and it is a 32gb model. I oc'd to 1.5 and installed some tweaks, it's not bad. The touch screen takes some time to appreciate. I like it for what it is and can do, but my iPad 2 is without a doubt better. It's the availability of apps. If the touchpad only had the apps..........

Tablets are a waste. I had the transformer and my wife has the ipad2. Typing on one is a friggin pain. Virtual keyboards suck for typing. It's okay for playing simple games and checking facebook and email. Typing a long email is pretty shitty.
Overhyped and overrated.
