What system requirements for Steam Home Streaming?

Anyone use it? Can say, an Atom processor handle the streaming? Or is this something that is aimed for people with laptops with i5 processors?

I haven't tried it with an Atom (keep in mind that Atom covers a large range of processors) processor, but the point of streaming is for it to not be resource intensive. All you're really doing is decoding a h.264 video stream, some audio stream and sending I/O related information.
