What straight up remaster (not remake) would you like to see next?

After the relative success and popularity of straight-up re-releases (not crummy remakes) such as Homeworld, Rise of Nations, and Baldur's Gate, what game would you like to see have an HD remaster in the future? For me, the answer would be Master of Magic. There have been plenty of attempts at remaking the game but all have fallen far short of the charm of the original. I would love to see a simple remaster with high-res graphics and maybe improved AI & bug fixes but keeping the gameplay exactly the same.

I think BF2 would be incredible if it was done entirely with all the same maps,lay out with all the weapons but the graphics was all that was changed.Update the gun mechanics of course but keep it all the same

The redone maps in BF3/BF4 simply didn't bring back the glory of BF2,it was more of a stab i feel.Didn't feel all the same.

Others may agree a BF 1942 remake would be nice too,yeah i would agree considering we have a over abundance of modern shooters.

BF2 with an HD update? Do want. And if it could be done within the scope of a "remaster":
1. Improved anti-air (choppers and jets getting 100+ kills in a 300 ticket round with no deaths? You know that's unbalanced)
2. Update the netcode and make player count 128. They could bring in maps from Project Reality that would fit for that many, or even simply stick 2-3 BF2 maps together within a playable area.
3. Insert the firearms mechanics of Bad Company 2 (that should address the "OMG RANDUMB DEVIATION complaints); but leave the anti-tank weapons of BF2 the same.

But other than that don't change much.

After I saw this I pissed my pants, but unfortunately it is only one scene from SS2.

I wish somebody did remake of System Shock (Original) with that engine.

After being VERY let down by the Yawnfest known as Elite Dangerous I could really use a good space sim. Wing commander or Tie Fighter would be great, but a Jedi knight would be very cool too.

Syndicate is what I was thinking, but there are a slew of old games that I would love to play again.

Luckily, many of the classics have been redone recently. Even playing them for the first time (UFO: Enemy Unknown, Baldurs Gate, Monkey Island, Loom, and many others) the games are better than the new games I have played. Since I didn't have experience with them in the past, I know that isn't nostalgia taking.

But the current Mechwarrior is a horrible, unbalanced, pay-to-win PoS.

Engine, or gameplay? As for gameplay, there are tons and tons of things from BF3/4 that I would not want in such a remaster.

As for engine-side things, I certainly wouldn't want their supernova sun glare in such a remaster. Same graphics (as BF3/BF4) otherwise? Perhaps...

Wing commander for sure. Several years ago some modders tried to update WC Prophecy with some success, but still wasn't perfect...too many problems on win 7 etc.

Also X Wing/Tie fighter Love those "space shooters"...don't love multiplayer.
