I'm not sure, but I think Quicken has a software/service where you pay a monthly fee for the real time streaming quote as is probably most other software you'll find.

Why not do this though? Open a Datek account with $500, then you'll get the streaming quotes free with your account. There's no minimum to keep in your account once you've opened the account, so you can maybe keep a dollar in the account to keep it active and take the rest out to put back in your bank account (you can write cheques with your Datek account just like it was a regualar checking account based on the amount of cash balance you have). You can then get the streaming quote using your browser, no monthly fee that would probably come with installing some software. Of course if you want to keep some cash in the Datek account, their interest rate is 4.75%, which isn't too bad compared to most savings accounts.

I believe MyTrack.com also has a downloadable real-time quote bar. It isn't free though.

Datek is good. You don't need to sign up for an account. Just register on their site and the real-time streamer is available for free.
