It's not what you think.

Basically, it was a webpage originally intended as a place where people broadcast themselves singing, podcasting, etc... Then, the tweens found it and started slutting it up. It got to the points where a lot of them were doing things that would make YOU blush. There were recordings. Some of those recordings were of these tweens doing... themselves.

So Stickam got in trouble with de law, and they started clamping down. Age verification, mods, reporting system, the whole nine yards.

Actually, it is what you thought it was...

Fast forward to present day, it died.

And for now it still sort of goes on. Look up Omegle videos on Youtube, then sort by date. Guess who flags it? :whiste:

The funny thing is people are also getting banned from Omegle for no reason. I was reading a Youtube comment the other day from someone who was complaining on a video about the subject. Something like "Im 14 and was doing nothing wrong when suddenly it said I was banned from Omegle". I dont know why but I laughed out loud after reading that. They are trying so hard to clamp down now, that IPs are getting banned left and right on a moderators whim.
