So the other day I was following this beat up acura integra on the freeway. I was a good 4 car length back. I saw a puff of something from the car and then some clear fluid completely splashed my windshield. I thought it was windshield fluid but when I turned on my wipers it completely blurred my windshield. I had to use a ton of my windshield fluid to clear it off. About 10 seconds later he puts on his hazard lights, slows to around 40 and had to take the next exit.
There was a little left on my side mirrors so I wiped a little onto fingers to feel what it might be. It was a little slick and when it dried it was slightly sticky. No odor that I can detect.
Don't think it's brake or power steering fluid cause those stink. I'm thinking it's coolant but probably it's mostly water cause it was clear.
