What spider is this?

Well, I have realized that my house seems to be infested with these things. I've killed probably around 20 of them in the past 3 weeks. I'm curious on what they are and if they are poisonous? If not to humans, could it hurt maybe my cat if she ate one? I'm located in Southern California, and I've mostly found them in the shower and sink.

Edit: Added top view pic

Spider Pic 2 (Top View)

As a side question... What should I look for in lenses for my Canon G3 if I want to take better close up pictures? Seems 3 feet + 14x zoom isn't a good combo 😛

Looks nasty, but we'll need a top view to actually identify it.

99% chance it's harmless just from the side pic tho.

err?

I read an interesting fact on the cap of my snapple bottle today. The average person cosumes 8 spiders in their sleep in their lifetime.

Mmmm... tasty.

Oh my god! I'm learning to keep my mouth shut while I sleep for now on. :disgust:

Hmm.. Still not a very good pic, can't see the markings on it's back.

I don't think it's harmful, though. It's not a hobo spider, or a recluse, or a black widow.

Probably just a common wolf spider.

Man...that's the infamous "Whatthefcukisit?" Spider. :Q

It spits poison, it bites, even it's feces is poisonous. In fact, the strands of it's web are coated w/the same poision in it's bite.

If you've touched ANYTHING it's touched in the past 187.3 hours, you are so gone....nice knowin' ya.
