What Speed HyperTransport Link for 280mhz FSB?

I was wondering if I should be running a 3x multiplier or a 4x multiplier for an overclock with a fsb of 280. Thanks, Rob
 
3x! 4x 280 = 1120 too high IMO, some boards will run stable at that speed but why risk it the performance difference between 870 @ 3x and 1120 @ 4x is practically zero.
 
Thanks thats what I thought but i just wanted to make sure. Is there any advantage to trying to keep it as close to 1000 as possible by using different fsb and cpu multipliers or should i just leave the cpu multiplier at its default and go with the lower htt speed?
