What speed does a Duron 2300 operate at ? Is it one of the Applebread cores

There is no such processor. All of the new Durons are Applebred cores. They don't use the PR rating system. They are just labeled by their frequency, like the Intel chips. Now, you can overclock most of the Applebreds to 2.2-2.4ghz, but they aren't selling them at those frequencies yet.

Are you looking at one of those ECS boards with integrated Durons and overly inflated PR ratings?

If so, I think we're looking at 1.3 GHz.

Isn´t he talking about a overclocked Duron that has reached 2.3 GHz and he wants to compare it with other processors?
Maybe the answer is just a benchmark utility like Sandra...

hehe, I've seen a couple Athlon Pro 2700's from ECS. I'm sure they are Durons, but have no idea what their actual mhz is.

Anyway ECS seems to be using mobile Athlons in their new Pro2300A's

That could be. I wasn't sure what they were(heatsink is glued onto cpu), your suggestion sounds more likely.
