What specifically do people mean by P4-2.4C?

Sounds like this is the king daddy o/c chip today.

it's the stepping on the chip

it means, 2.4ghz 800fsb chip.

it's got nothing to do with steping.

Btw these chips are stepping D1.


2.4ghz A = 400fsb
2.4ghz B = 533fsb
2.4ghz C = 800fsb

I suspect it must have been the 400fsb version because people claim 3.4-3.6GHz out of them.

People are getting 3.4 - 3.6 GHz out of the 800 MHz FSB version. Also note the 2.4C has Hyperthreading.

nah, they use the memory ratio's to prevent the ram from limiting their oc
