dab?

Generally, any device that has a headphone/rca audio output can be plugged into PC speakers. Depending on exactly what outputs/input you have, you may be able to just plug everything in, or you may have to buy an adaptor (which are usually a few dollars form any electronics store).

If your computer speakers have a 3.5mm plug as their input, they can be plugged into anything with a 3.5mm socket output (like a walkman or mp3player).

Why did you want to know? Do you already have the speakers/device. If so, i might be able to give you more specific details.

well i want to buy a dab digital radio (its a type of digital radio format in the UK) and then i want to plug that radio into my computer speakrs so i have excellent sound coming off the radio.

ive been looking at klipsch 2.1's though i can only find the ugly silver gmx sattelites in the UK not the nice understated black ones.

ive also been looking at the harman karman II's but ive got a feeling i might be paying for style over audio there

Harman Kardon is known more for there receivers than theirs speakers. Why not look on ebay for someone willing to ship the black klipschs' to the UK?

Connect the radio to your Line In on your sound card, then you can choose what source you want to listen to with the Equalizer tool in Windows. And I agree that H-K has never been known for speakers - I would guess those are made under license by some third party who perhaps just rented the name.
. The Altec Lansing VS5121 or similar OR if you can find a good used set of ATP-3 (the precursor to the 5121) , are very musical for the jazz/classical/big band type listener.
.. If you're into what passes for music today perhaps this might be more down your alley: Cyber Acoustics 180W
. Those may be sold under a different bradnd there as they are sold under at least two different brand names here.
