What sound card would you get the Santa Cruz , Hercules XP Theater, or one of the Philps sound cards for win2k.

What sound card you would you recommend? I will mostly use it for gaming.

oh yeah forgot this wont be used to play a lot of music or record any from other devices. Just gaming and system sounds.

how many speakers do you have? i used to have the sound blaster live x-gamer but it caused to many conflicts with the ati radeon, since ati and creative both like to install alot of mutimedia stuff. now i am using Acoustic edge from phillips and is conflict free.

Well i am going to get good speakers soon. Guess i will get 4 speakers so 5.1 inless there is something higher and better.
why?
Not sure what speaker brand and how much i will spend.

But i do think i will spend $100 to $200 on speakers maybe not that much not sure.
