I need a new soundcard and want to know what you would get..I do not want to spend alot of $$$

Less than $70

You can find Audigy2 cards on the FS/T forum for your asking price. The GTXP mentioned before was a great card in its day, but the Audigy2 is head and shoulders above it now.

you can get a Audigy2 for $68 brand new or an Audigy2 ZS for $88 brand new from newegg.

Jose

If your a gamer, than its a no-brainer, the Audigys will do you perfectly.
If your a "lite gamer" who listens to alot of music, watchs DVDs, and likes very high quality audio, then the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 is the card to go for.

If it's about quality, then something with a VIA Envy series chip on it. Budget? Give me C-Media 8738-6CH please. Creative? No thanks. Driver issue track record too long.

I've got a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz that's been nobly serving my Z560s and myself for 6 months. I love it!
