what sound card to get....

for gaming and mainly 5.1 dvd watching. My tried and true 5 yr. old Hercules GTXP just up and died and I was kind of leaning towards an Audigy2 Gamer Z2 LE but am not really into the game bundle. Any suggestions?

this audigy2 ZS with good quality source (CD) and some Sennheiser HD515 phones sounds mint, the best combo i ever heard on a PC, highly recomended. The gaming support is also excellent

There is really no substitute for gaming besides Augidy 2 right now. You can pick one up for $65-70. Make sure you have decent speakers to really enjoy this upgrade.

I got the Audigy 2 ZS oem cuz I didn't want the gamer crap package. Got it for ~$70 from Newegg. Happy with it. 🙂
