What sound card for A7M266?

I had a sound blaster live value card in my original system. But this crappy Via 686b south bridge has made it obsolete (due to conflicts) on the new AMD setup I have. Right now I'm just using the onboard sound, which surprisingly is pretty good. What is a good alternative add in card? What would be the best, another high end Sound Blaster (havent heard that they have the same conflict problems as the value card) or the new Hercules card or one I dont know about yet?

I would like 5.1 surround in the new card.

You can try Phillips Acoustic Edge, or a Tutrtle Beach Santa Cruze. Don't know if they're 5.1 though. I've heard the Hercules is a good as well

I have an A7M266, and I use the SBLive value in it, and it works fine for me. Have you tried placing it in another PCI slot to see if that changes your results?

Also, I have also used the newer SB Live 5.1 value as well, and that card works good for me as too.
