What sort of temps should I get on load with X1800 xt and stock cooler?

After playing for a while temps are very high, and has been giving me problems. Ether the game will just shut down or give me strange results.
 
u need to use atitray to speed up the fan... the stock ati stuff lets the card go to 80c before it spins way up... i set atitray to 'keep gpu at 65c' and it does... the aftermarket cooler may be quieter, tho... the stock chainsaw is a little noisy at full tilt...
 
yeah that does help it keep it cooler.

But that wasn't my problem, I forgot I had left my ram on 3-3-3-8. changed it back to 4-4-4-12 and haven't had any problems yet.
