BOOO! This is another reason why living in California is crappy!

I'm also in California. Orange County to be exact. All you have to do is take a day trip to the AVI Indian Casino. It's about 10 minutes from Laughlin. Took us about 7 hours, with Gambling. It's worth it. Spent around $600. Now for the fun next Friday!

And we've been doing this literally all my life and I've never been bothered on fourth of July by a cop. They don't even show up. Hope I'm not jinxing myself.

M-80s are prohibited by federal law. That's not to say that you can't find them, but they're not produced by any of the commercial fireworks companies.

If it says 'Blackcat' or 'Bluemoon' or 'Thundercat' or the name of another fireworks company stamped or printed on it, its not an M-80. Those are "legal" M-80s, which are about half the power of a real M-80.

My friends already went to Wisconsin and bought them. They had a tube that some ball thingys launched from, a mortar I believe, and they were pretty big. There was some rockets and roman candles. Also the usual firecrackers.

On a side note, my friends are crazy because they shoved a firecracker in a toad's mouth and blew him up. He was still hopping so they did it again and he was still surviving. They threw him in a coffee can and put him out of his misery with firecrackers, poor toad:(
