I was just wondering what sort of scores I should be getting for the system listed in my sig.
3dmark didn't have enough comparison data for me (according to 3dmark at least) to show accurately where I sit.
OS is Vista 64 Ultimate and my resolution is 1680x1050.

I ran the PT Boat benchmark and was getting a min frame rate of 29, mid frame rate of 41 and a max of 55 (4xAA).
3Dmark was around 16k combined score.

i dunno. 20000 in default 3dmark06?

none of us are going to be able to guess as well as 3dmark's result browser. you should be able to see what other people's systems with similar components scored, and i can't see them not having any data for c2d's and 4890's...

Probably not if I get ~ 21K :p

Do yourself a favor OP. Find some 4890 reviews and bench the games you have that match the ones in the reviews.

Artificial benchmarks are for e-peen only.

The only use I've ever found for 3dmark is as a quick test to make sure a newly installed card is performing like it should be in a system. Futuremark has apparently made just doing that more complicated than it should be.

All right. So to hell with Futuremark.
Good, I find the benchmark themes a bit annoying anyway.

I guess as long as it's playing everything smoothly I should be content.
