have you ever listened to richard cheese? he does loung-type remakes of a lot of popular songs. has a few cd's out. pretty funny and surprisingly good stuff.

I didn't mean rap artists. I call the type of songs I mentioned Prep Rap. I guess I'm looking for some explicit lyrics in an elevator music background. I want something slow, yet hardcore. I'm downloading the Richard Cheese Gin & Juice video right now.

Try the real rap songs. I started listening to some NWA after the Dynamite Hack song.. they make just as funny songs has the preppy white kids can. I remember hearing one called "She Swallowed It" a while back.. I hate rap but NWA rules. Good humor on top of other good songs (Express Yo'Self and Fsck tha Police)

I listened to rap when I was a kid. I was into Dr. Dre, Onyx, Snoop Dog, etc. It's not just about the lyrics for the songs that I've mentioned. It's the contrast between explicit lyrics and the mellow tunes. It's just an unlikely pair.
