I'm pissed over the attack as many of us are. I hear some who support the attacks against us try to justify the actions by saying we got what we deserve, or that if we strike we bring ourselves to their level. That's incorrect. When we attack, if civilians are injured it's because their government puts them at risk by hiding behind them and using them to shield these cowardly bastards. The people that died in this horrible tragedy were doing their jobs and living their lives. No one was hiding behind them and they have never been used as "human shields".

I'm ready to see our country remove these vile individuals and groups from the face of the earth. While I've been sitting here waiting for the evidence to show us who our enemy is I can't help being filled with hate and resentment towards these cowards who strike at innocent citizens of our country. So I got to thinking. What if we had the opportunity to play a selected song or two, to sum up our feelings, while sending these terrorists to whatever god they may worship. Assuming they could hear it and understand the language, what would you use to convey your feelings towards them???

My picks at the moment:

  • Hair of the Dog-Nazareth
  • Bastard-Motley Crue

Conflict

You are
enemy
You are my hated
enemy
I am
enemy
Number one rated
enemy

I'm labelled
enemy
I am your mortal
enemy
Your actions
enemy
Make you my bitter
enemy

All the world around
enemy
We're tearing up the ground
enemy
They're drawn in by the sound
Enemy, enemy I must
ELIMINATE my Enemy

Your people,
enemy
My people's hated
enemy
What are you,
enemy
A created enemy
Terminate the
enemy
Eradicate the
hated enemy
I am an enemy
Your very greatest enemy

You try to tell me that you love life
Then find another way to kill life

You try to tell me that you love life
Then find another way to kill life

You try to tell me that you love life
Then find another way to kill life

You try to tell me that you love life
Then find another way to kill life

I will find a way to kill my

I downloaded and listened to Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" last night. That song gave me chills.

Try it.

I keep listening to Summer Overture/Lux Aeterna from the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack. They express more of a sad feeling than the hatred all the other songs posted here show.

God Bless The USA by Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars to be livin' here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away.

Chorus
And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I gladly stand up next to you
And defend her still today
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea
From Detroit down to Houston, and New York to LA
Well there's pride in every American heart
And its time we stand and say:

Chorus
That I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

Repeat Chorus
Yes I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

I would choose Tosca, the opera depicts the torture and slow death of the perpetraters, and was used by the Gestapo to torture the minds of the Jews before their execution during the holocaust.

It is sad, angry music with a merciless history

That is why it's my favorite song to play for Osama bin Laden

"F*ck you, I won't do what you tell me" by Rage Against the Machine

I think that's the name of the song anyway. If not, that's the chorus from it.

Queen," We are the Champions"

I've paid my dues
Time after time
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
I've had my share of sand
Kicked in my face
But I've come through

And we mean to go on and on and on and on

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting
Till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the World

I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls
You brought me fame and fortune
And everything that goes with it
I thank you all
But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise
I consider it a challenge before
The whole human race
And I ain't gonna lose

And we mean to go on and on and on and on

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting
Till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions of the World

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting
Till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions

I think I would like to sing, "Let There Be Peace on Earth." I heard a group of young children sing it last night and the purity of their voices just gave me so much hope for our future.

the only song that truly fits is the song of rage that is burning in each and every one of us, and the only one that will ever hear it are the people responsable for the attack.

"You Don't Mess Around With Jim"

(As recorded by Jim Croce)
JIM CROCE

Uptown got its hustlers
The bowery got its bums
Forty Second Street got Big Jim Walker
He a pool shootin' son of a gun
Yeah he big and dumb as a man can come
But he's stronger than a country hoss
And when the bad folks all get together at night
You know they all call Big Jim boss, just because

And they say you don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off an 'ole Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Jim

Well outa South Alabama come a country boy
He said I'm lookin' for a man named Jim
I am a pool shootin' boy, my name is Willie McCoy
But down home they call me Slim
Yeah I'm lookin' for the king of Forty Second Street
He drive an old drop-top Cadillac
And last week he took all my money, and it may sound funny
But I've come to get my money back
And everybody say Jack, ooh don't you know

That you don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off an 'ole Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Jim

Well a hush fell over the pool room
And Jimmy come boppin' in off the street
And when the cuttin' was done
The only part that wasn't bloody was the soles of
The big man's feet, woah
Yeah he were cut in 'bout a hundred places
And he was shot in a couple more
And you better believe they sung a different kind of story
When a Big Jim hit the floor, aw

Now they say you don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off an 'ole Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Slim

(Spoken)
Yeah Big Jim got his hat, find out where it's at
And it's not hustling people strange to you
Even if do got a two piece custom made pool cue...yea

Now they say you don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off an 'ole Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Slim.

Metallica - No Remorse

No mercy for what we are doing
No thought to even what we have done
We don't need to feel the sorrow
No remorse for the helpless one

War without end
No remorse No repent
We don't care what it meant
Another day Another death
Another sorrow Another breath
No remorse No repent
We don't care what it meant
Another day Another death
Another sorrow Another breath

Blood feeds the war machine
as it eats its way across the land
We don't need the feel the sorrow
No remorse is the one command

War without end
No remorse No repent
We don't care what it meant
Another day Another death
Another sorrow Another breath
No remorse No repent
We don't care what it meant
Another day Another death
Another sorrow Another breath

Only the strong survive
No one to save the weaker race
We are ready to kill all comers
Like a loaded gun right at your face

War without end
No remorse No repent
We don't care what it meant
Another day Another death
Another sorrow Another breath
No remorse No repent
We don't care what it meant
Another day Another death
Another sorrow Another breath

Attack
Bullets are flying
People are dying
with madness surrounding all hell's breaking loose
Soldiers are hounding
Bodies are mounting
cannons are shouting to take their abuse
With war machines going
Blood starts to flowing
No mercy given to anyone hear
The furious fighting
Swords are like lighting
It all becomes frightening to you
Know death is near
No remorse
