What song should our first dance be to?

I'm saying either:

A. I've Got Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks

B. It's the End of the World As We Know It - REM

She says no.

:D

Metallica - Orion

So you can both just stand there and "dance". ;)

Ben Folds - The Luckiest

Have a listen. I guarantee you it'll be one of your top considerations. :)

I have two jobs for this whole shebang, the music and the honeymoon. So keep suggesting stuff. Ben Folds - Luckiest is definately up there. I had never heard that before and I am a Ben Folds fan.

G'luck. Right now my only job is taking care of the honeymoon...I shudder to think what would happen if I was in charge of music as well. ;)

In that case, I'll give y'all a little more help! :)

Try Forever Young by Alphaville. It's a little-known song featured in an 80s movie called Listen to Me, starring Kirk Cameron. Bad movie, great song. It's one of my favorites.

It's actually pretty fun. I have a bunch of eclectic and different stuff.

I don't :)

Most of my collection is classic rock and metal.

A couple more:

My girlfriend and I's 'song' is Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. It's a classic, and an absolutely wonderful way to start a marriage. It was the last song played at our senior prom, and I'll never forget it.

Also, try She's Always a Woman by Billy Joel, and Take It to the Limit by the Eagles.

If you want a festive first dance, try Accidentally In Love by Counting Crows. Also, All I Want is You by U2 is great too. :)

EDIT: forgot one of my favorites - God Only Knows by the Beach Boys. Dunno if it's really a dancing song, but everyone at the reception will be impressed, and it's a sad and happy song, all at the same time! :)

I can't remember the song that my best friend and his wife first danced to but I remember the last song of the night was Brian McKnight "Back at One." Good song.

But so cheesy! Go for something that'll have everyone either sobbing or on the dancefloor by the end of the song...not some pop trash! :D

oh yeah, we need a unique Elvis song. I was thinking C.C. Rider. We are attached to it. THat is pretty much the only slots we will play at the casino

Ooh ooh ooh! Got one! It's a little fast for a slow dance, but it's a beautiful song. Beautiful Girl by Domestic Problems. I love the song.
