What song on the radio?

Is there any way to figure what song is on the radio. Like is there some way you can get their playlist. I seem to remember someting back about a year ago, where you could push a button on a little key chain thing and then take it home and tell it what station you were listening to and it would tell you the song. Does anyone know any thing like this. I just want to find out the names of the songs I hear on the radio. Has anyone know anything like this or have I used the wrong mushrooms again.

Most radio stations tell you what is currently playing through their signal if your radio has the capability.

Look for an "RDS" capable radio. Only works for FM, and only a few stations have it in the US. It's rather more common in Europe and Asia from what I can gather.

Wasn't there something made by Sony? Seems to ring a bell, but that could be the mushrooms talking.

At least I am not the only one crazy. I think there was. It would go on you key chain.
