I make no secret about it, I'm a Dave Matthews fan and while I know there's a pretty good split here of those who love/hate him that's not really the issue here. I picked up his new cd when it came out and while I love it I started listening to Grey Street which was on the bonus disc and I now can't stop. My favorite song on his Busted Stuff album was Grey Street and I think I looped that song so many times that the laser probably cut a groove in my CD.

So here I am, looping Grey Street again...I think all hope is lost. Should I destory all my Dave Matthews stuff and become a Monk somewhere in Tibet, or do I continue down the path of destruction until I kidnap Dave and force him to play this song for me 24x7 (I'd feed him of course......"It takes the lotion out of the basket and rubs it on it's skin!").

Must....stop.....listening....

You mean the one that's playing in my head? Heck, sometimes it happens.

For example, I like that Synaesthesia short thingy by some unknown to me Thrillseekers band or something. However, I think they should add a couple of more refrains in there b/c it's pretty short.

A Change of Seasons and Strange Deja Vu by Dream Theater. I can hear them when I turn off WinAMP. Thats not bad, is it?

There's no hope for you now. You're beyond the assistance of conventional medicine.

Walk with me on the dark side and see what we discover. Perhaps we are not insane and the song is still playing in some alternate reality. Don't be afraid.

"Fight Test" by The Flaming Lips

I don't know where the sunbeams end
And the starlight begins
It's all a mystery

Radiohead - There There, Paranoid Android, 2+2=5, sitdown standup, backdrifts, where i end and you begin, karma police...etcetcetc....

RHCP - Under the Bridge, Soul to Squeeze, all their other stuff...etc etc etc...

Audioslave - Like a Stone, I am the Highway

A lot of the live/demo stuff from Evanescence is pretty good... I have plans to use some of it for intros.

"Paper Flowers" ? Don't see it anywhere... hmm.

Thanks to this thread, I've spent more than I could afford on U2 stuff. Four CDs and four DVDs. Bought Rattle and Hum this weekend.

As for today, I'm obsessed with Ultra Violet.

"I just can't help myself
I'm feeling like I'm going out of my head
Tears my soul into two
I'm not the one I thought I always knew

I just can't help myself
I'm feeling like I'm going out of my head
Uncanny, Strange Deja Vu
But I don't mind- I hope to find the truth"

That is from memory. My, my do I have problems. I actually start humming to myself in class now. Their new CD comes out in Nov too. 😀

Rarely do I ever find another DT fan on a computer forum. ACOS rocks the house dude. Straneg Deja Vu was one of my first favorites off of SFAM. Heard all of the other albums too? You MUST see them live. I saw them down in Atlanta this past summer and it was nothing short of spectacular.

Its OFFICIAL: You are the whitest black guy ever. 🙂

I grew up listening to Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Stephanie Mills, The O'Jays, Teddie Pendergrass, Al Green, Barry White...etc. When I hit ~17, I just longed for a change 😛
