Wow! Now that is some sexy sh!t! :D

I like the fact that you don't need a 3rd party program, like Style XP, to make this work. It's very clean and fast. LOVE it!

yeah, ditto. I've been trying various shells and this just beats them all! Add Rainlender with a glossy skin and Rainmeter to your desktop and you've got a slick-looking interface!

sure, tons. I'm working on compiling a list of stuff I've found useful. For now, here's a short list:

Mike Lin's software - useful system utilities
-Startup Control panel (lets you choose what programs run at startup, get the Control Panel version)
-StartupMonitor (popup tool that tells you when a program has registered itself to run at startup and lets you block it)
-PathCopyEx (under Misc Stuff - lets you copy a path by right-clicking on a file or folder)

Firefox - good browser (remember to get Flash, Java, and Acrobat)
-Copy Plain Text extension
-Add Bookmark Here extension
-Forecast Fox extension

Thunderbird - good email reader if you don't use webmail

Miranda IM - I use this instead of AIM now

Karen's Power Tools - useful tools
-Replicator (backup program)
-WhoIs (Internet Domain Name info-getter - I run a number of websites, its quicker than searching online)
-Font Explorer (shows you fonts and lets you print them - I do publishing and this is useful to find a good font)

Microsoft PowerToys
-Open Command Window Here
-Alt-Tab Replacement (VERY useful - shows you a mini-screenshot of running progs when you press alt+tab)
-Tweak UI (I only use a few functions, but it's useful for tweaking)
-Image Resizer
-Virtual Desktop Manager

There's tons more, but I'll work on an 'official' list later :)

Thanks

Good work on that list of yours, and don't forget to post it ... it would be great to have a sticker around ... :)

Personally, i had stability issues with both of them, so i went with Gaim.

Been a long-time Trillian Pro user...no flaws or stability issues. Just the necessary updates here and there because of the numerous network and protocol updates with each company.

Miranda doesn't support yahoo, and it's really simple looking compared to trillian. I think trillian has more functionality personally.
