What software to use for hiding folders?

Alright, New Year's is right around the corner, and i'm not sure if i'm gonna sleep over at a house party i'm going to, or bring a girl home. In case i do end up going home after, i don't want her snooping around on my pc in the morning and seeing all my porn 😀 So what do i use to hide folders?

For some reason it seems unlikely that someone who has stored enough porn to be worried about someone finding it would actually have the opportunity to have a real woman spend the night at his place.

That said, just turn the PC off and don't tell her the password.

 

You don't want your mom finding your porn while you are off to a sci-fi convention, am I getting warm????

Heh.. why do you keep it on your computer?

At any rate this is the wrong forum, but use Windows' built in hidden feature. Right click on the folder, check "hidden" and click ok. This only works however if you have "hidden folders/files" disabled in your view properites for all folders.

just put them in your windows folder, and rename the picture folder something like "WinConfig"

Use Camouflage to get them to jpegs or compress them at 0% "store" compression into passworded files in seconds and rename the ace/rar/zip files.

Bestcrypt is good. Also you could rename folders to something like [anynameyouwant].{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}. Then if anyone clicks on that folder it will take them to the control panel. To access the folder just delete everything after the period. Becareful though, some applications (like nero) use an explorer-like interface that will still show the contents of the folder, so if you want to be a little more secure, I suggest encrypting everything in Bestcrypt containers and then putting them in the hidden/redirecting folders.

Right click on the folder, and make it hidden. Then, make sure that "show hidden files/folders" is unchecked under folder properties.

Clear all of your temp. files, and recent file lists and you're set.

If you have a LOT of porn, put it all on one drive and unmount the drive in the Disk Management console. However, I, too, call shenanigans...

Make a shortcut to your porn folder and put it on your desktop. Name it: "Stuff I want to do to YOU"
