What software to use for burn-in tests?

Right now all the computers we build we run a few passes of memtest86+ to test the memory and the diagnostic utilities from the hard drive manufacturer to test the hard drive. If the customer requests an operating system to be installed, we do that and then run a hardware compatibility test that stresses the memory, cpu, hard drives, video, peripheral drives, etc.

Most of our computers leave without an OS, however, so we only are able to run memtest86+ and the hard drive diagnostic utilities. We also perform a network boot on the ethernet controllers to make sure they are functioning.

Lately we have been getting an unusually high number of system failures from customers within the first week of the system's operation. We are trying to find new testing methods to perform burn-in tests on the machines. Do any of you have any suggestions? We would prefer something that is bootable, since installing an OS on every machine to perform a test is rather time consuming.

Thanks in advance,
Roman
