I use 3dmark 2000 in looping demo mode. Also, I set it to 640x480 so it doesn't max out my video card and so it taxes the cpu.

Yeah 3dmark is good. Many people also use Prime 95 Torture test or Dharma Stability test.

My personal fav is Dharma Stability test on idle mode and 3D Mark 2000 loop at the same time. That should tax it to the limit

As I also posted to the coolermaster-guy my recommendation is Rally Masters.
There you choose any replay (there is one by default). It runs in a loop automatically.
When running an hour or more, your system is rock-stable.

Rally Masters even produces Crashes after hours of seti or 3dmark2000!

This game really needs what I call a stable system :)

Don't forget to run RC5! I just started a few days ago and not only does it help test your cpu for stability, but it gets addicting watching how fast your cpu can crack codes.

Note that 3DMark usually doesn't crash your whole system when it goes down. Instead, it gives you a "file is corrupted" message. For example, i have a PIII 600 @ 840, and the only benchmark that failed at 1.70 V was 3DMark. The system was slightly unstable, but 3DMark crashed every single time. Now, when I run it at 1.80 (had to go there), the system never hangs, and 3DMark runswithout problems. I have also had those "file corruption" messages when I ran my Geforce at 160 with the retail (tiny) heatsink. Now I use a processor heatsink for that one.

Thanks for all of the reply.
Can you provide me a link to the latest copy of this software? Or is this something that I have to buy?
