You might like Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe ImageReady / Photoshop LE, or Jasc PaintShopPro...

Paint Shop pro is awesome, and its free (slightly limited freeware version)

Macromedis Fireworks, kicks Adobe arse IMO

Adobe is usually better on Macs, i havent really seen cool adobe stuff on PC yet

Another vote for Paint Shop Pro. Definately not a Photoshop but is good for simpler things.

I'd have to say that Fireworks sucks hardcore after using photoshop for quite some time. Photoshop is sometimes difficult to use, but you get used to it :)

gimp rocks! You can get gimp for windows too!

Gimp for Win32

Fireworks is sorta annoying. Someone worked on our last website using it and the graphics it produced used tons of interseaming gif files (I'm used to cut up images but this was like an 9 row by 6 column spread of little boxs that change color when moused over and it used *tons* of little images). Is Fireworks f*cked? Or was the it a problem with the user?

Anyway, go get Gimp for Win32 if you're a windoze peep! :)
